The latest model perf clamp bar is now fitted with a compressible plastic round bar under the fixed half of the assembly, made to give a precise height fit for the FME GP-RL 100 in the slot in the perf cylinder. This together with the compressible pads fitted along the back side of the bar, means that the FME perf bars can accept all standard perforating, micro-perforating or cutting blades of a common nominal height without any adjustment of the bar. The system will automatically accommodate slight variations in blade height and thickness.
